Mubasher: Gold went down at Friday’s settlement, losing 3.2% for the week.
Comex December gold declined by $3.5, or 0.2%, to settle at $1,462.9 per ounce.
By 06:08 pm GMT, the US dollar index (DXY), which measures the US currency against a basket of six major currencies, increased by 0.23% to 98.37.
